Cookie policy
This site uses no profiling cookies and sets no cookies of its own. That is why there is no banner: asking for consent that serves no purpose is an annoyance, not a protection.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in the browser while you navigate. They exist to remember information between one page and the next, or one visit and the next: a language preference, a cart, a logged-in session.
There are technologies with similar effects (local storage inside the browser, tracking pixels), and the rules are the same: when they are not strictly necessary to provide the service the user asked for, they require consent.
What this site uses
| Category | What it does | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Own technical cookies | None. The site writes no cookie in the browser. | Not present |
| Statistics cookies | Google Analytics 4, active only after you accept: aggregate page views and traffic sources. Cookies _ga and _ga_<id>, 13 months. No advertising data, no profiles, Google Signals turned off. |
Active with consent |
| Profiling cookies | No advertising tracking, no user profiles, no remarketing. | Not present |
| Third-party fonts | The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. The request transmits your IP address to Google, but sets no cookie on our site. | Active |
| Local storage | Four entries stay in your browser and are not sent to a server: your consent choice (titech-consent), where your first visit came from, so we can tell which pages work (titech-attribution), which variant you are in during a test (titech-experiments) and a stable random id that only exists so you are not shown two different variants in the same test (titech-visitor). None of it is used for advertising. |

How the banner works
Consent is required for tools that are not strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. On this site there is one: Google Analytics. Until you press Accept, no request goes to Google and no statistics cookie is written.
Your choice stays in your browser. If you refuse, the site behaves exactly the same: we only measure the page views of people who accepted, which means the numbers we read are part of the total, not the total. To change your mind, clear the site data in your browser and the banner appears again.
We did not add Analytics out of habit. It serves one purpose: working out which pages bring business and which do not, so we can remove the second kind.
How to manage cookies in your browser
Even though this site sets no cookie, you can control those of the other sites you visit from your browser settings. In the privacy and security sections of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge you find the options to block third-party cookies, delete them when you close the browser or erase data already stored.
Blocking third-party cookies does not affect the use of this site. Blocking external fonts may instead change the look of the typefaces slightly: the text stays perfectly readable, and a system font is used.
Processing of personal data
The purposes, legal bases, retention periods and the rights you can exercise are described in the privacy policy. For any question write to info@titechdigital.it.
